One of the oldest homes in Colonial Williamsburg, the house was built by St. George Tucker, a prominent lawyer and judge. He served on the staff of Geoerge Washington at the battle of Yorktown and became an important juristafter the Revolutionary war. The home was occupied by his descendants well into the 20th century and is now used as the reception center for donors.
