The King's Arms Tavern is a reconstruction of a colonial tavern of the same name. It was built on the foot print of the original, on Duke of Gloucester St., across from the Raleigh Tavern. After the Revolution it was renamed the Eagle Tavern, for obvious reason. However, Colonial Williamsburg has recreated the King's Arms Tavern much as it may have looked in the 1770's, and the food is great!
