This stately house on the Palace Green was the home of one of the most influential men of his time. George Wythe was the first professor of law in the United States, at the College of William and Mary. He also headed this list of the signers of the Declatation of Independence from Virginia.

Tours are regularly conducted through this original historic residence that once served as George Washington's headquarters before the battle of Yorktown.
